I stopped selling AI agents. I started selling SOPs.

Last month a founder asked me to build him an AI agent for his sales onboarding.

First question I asked: "Where is the process written down?"

Silence.

It lived in three people's heads. And each of them did it slightly differently.

This is the part nobody wants to hear: most AI agents do not fail because the model is not smart enough. They fail because they were built on top of a process nobody ever wrote down.

Automate a vague process and you do not get magic. You get a faster way to be wrong, at scale, in writing, with your logo on it.

So now, before I touch any automation, I do one boring thing first. I document the process. Not a fancy flowchart. A plain SOP that a new hire, or an agent, can follow without guessing.

The problem is that writing an SOP is painful. The person who knows the process is too busy doing it to sit down and type it out. And half of what they know is tacit. The "I just check it" steps they cannot even explain until you ask the right question.

So I built a tool that does the asking.

It is a free Claude Code skill. You run it, and it interviews you. One question at a time, like a smart colleague sitting next to you. It pulls the process out of your head, hunts down the "we just know" parts, and hands you a clean SOP at the end.

The best part: the output is already split into what an agent could automate and what still needs a human in the loop. So the document you finish the interview with is the exact starting point for automating it.
